All information collected by The Polka Dot Palm is used for internal purposes only and will not be sold to or shared with any person, business, or entity outside our establishment. We will communicate via e-mail with our customers concerning orders and will occasionally send notices of sales or special announcements.

Payment Policy
Secure transactions for this website are done via Authroize.net. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Your credit card will not be processed until your order has been filled and is ready to ship.

We can not accept any checks or money orders.

Our business hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm EST. Our store is closed on Sundays and all major holidays. Our phones are manned during regular business hours only.

Shipping & Handling
Most orders are shipped within 3 to 4 days of receipt during regular business days. Once your order has been filled, your credit card will be processed and your order will automatically be shipped. We ship via Federal Express which normally gets your package to you in 3 to 4 regular business days once the order has been shipped. This applies only to orders shipped within the continental United States. Please allow 10 working days from the time you place your order before making an inquiry. If you must make an inquiry on an order, please include your name, order number, and telephone number where you can be reached.

Any changes to orders or cancellations must be made by phone by 2:00 p.m. EST on the same day as your order is placed. Please call us at 864 590-9270 and have your order number available. If we can not be reached by phone, please leave a message and include your name, order number, and telephone number where you may be reached. We will get back to you just as soon as possible. We are not responsible for any change or cancellation requests made after that time if your order has already been processed.

Merchandise damaged during shipping should be reported both to us and the carrier within 24 hours of receipt.

Currently, we are not shipping orders outside the United States.

Express Shipment
Need your order in a hurry? You can select an express shipping option. Once your order is ready it will be shipped according to the shipping option you have chosen. Personalized items can not be shipped same day. Express shipping is not available during weekends or major holidays.

Returns
Personalized items are not returnable, except in the case of an error on the part of The Polka Dot Palm or defective goods. In the case of damaged goods, please notify us as well as the carrier immediately upon receipt. Any error or return requests must be made within 7 days of receipt of merchandise. All merchandise must be returned in original condition. In the event that an item needs to be returned, please notify us at 864 590-9270 or by e-mail to let us know that you are returning an item. We can not credit shipping and handling charges on returnable items. We recommend that returns be made using a traceable form of delivery. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping. We have the right to refuse returns that do not follow our expressed guidelines. Shipping charges will apply on exchanges.

All return requests are processed within 10 business days upon receipt of merchandise. You will be credited via your original method of payment unless an exchange is requested. Please allow at least two billing cycles for your credit to show on your credit card statement.

Embroidery Policy
Please carefully review the initials you have entered and the order in which they are entered, as we are not responsible for incorrectly submitted orders. Each page lists the order in which initials should be entered, please follow these carefully. Three letter monograms for women, babies and children are embroidered with the initial of the first name, followed by the initial of the last name in the center then the middle initial on the right hand side - so a three letter monogram for Sharon Clarkson Amann would be SAC with the initial of the last name bigger in the center. For men, a three initial monogram is typically done in order of first initial, middle initial, last initial all the same size. Andreas Johann Amann would be AJA. Please see examples below.

We strive to accurately display the colors and provide accurate descriptions of products shown on our website. However, we cannot guarantee the actual colors that appear on your monitor to be accurate as colors may be displayed differently from one computer monitor to another.

Although we make every effort to keep our site and inventory up to date, we can not guarantee that all items are available at all times. Some items sell out quickly and may be out of stock or on backorder. If this occurs you will be notified. You will not be charged for ordered items that are out of stock. If ordering a product you are agreeing to pay the price that is listed on the product page. We are not responsible for occasional malfunctions or misprints by our shopping cart system.
